My Ride Is Here AI: a person riding a witch's broom in three scenes, street, crosswalk and car window
Back to blog

A Halloween broom video is a short clip of you flying in on a witch's broom and waving at the camera. With My Ride Is Here AI you upload one photo of one person, pick a scene, pay once ($9.90 per video) and get a 5-second, silent, vertical 9:16 MP4, usually in about 5 minutes. No app, no account and no editing are needed.

It is the same video as the "my ride is here" trend on TikTok and Reels, which took off in October 2026 and fits Halloween perfectly: the joke is that your ride to work, school or the party is a broomstick.

What the video looks like

The person in your photo flies into the shot on a broom, slows down, stops in front of the camera and waves. Face, hair and outfit come from your photo. You choose one of three scenes:

  • Street: a phone on the curb of a quiet street. You fly down the road toward it and stop. This is the version most people post.
  • Crosswalk: seen from inside a car waiting at a red light. You stop on the broom next to the side window, over the zebra crossing.
  • Car window: seen from the back seat of a moving car at dusk. You ride alongside the open window.

Examples of all three are in My Ride Is Here examples.

How to make one for Halloween (3 steps)

  1. Pick a photo. One person, face clearly visible, at least 300 pixels on each side. JPG, PNG, WebP and iPhone HEIC all work. Wear your costume in the photo if you want it in the video (see costume ideas).
  2. Upload, pick a scene and pay. On the home page, add the photo, choose Street, Crosswalk or Car window, and pay once on the secure checkout page. No subscription, no sign-up.
  3. Download and post. The MP4 is usually ready in about 5 minutes and the link is also emailed to you. Add a sound in TikTok, Instagram or YouTube Shorts and caption it "my ride is here".

Full details are in how to make a My Ride Is Here video.

Make it more Halloween

The scene stays the same, but two things change the mood:

  • Your photo. Witch hat, cape, face paint or a full costume all carry over into the video, as long as the face stays visible.
  • The optional note. Tap + Add a detail (optional) under the photo and add one short line, for example:
    • "the street is lined with glowing jack-o'-lanterns"
    • "wearing a black witch hat and a long cape"

Until Halloween, the panel also has Halloween ideas buttons (Jack-o'-lanterns, Witch hat & cape): one tap writes the line for you. One line works better than a long paragraph. More ideas are in My Ride Is Here prompts.

When to make it

Halloween 2026 is on Saturday, October 31. Each video usually takes about 5 minutes, but leave yourself a day if you want to try a second photo or another scene before you post. Posts tend to get the most views in the days before Halloween, when people are searching for costume and party ideas.

What it cannot do

  • One rider only. Two people on one broom do not work. For a group, make one video per person and join them in an editor.
  • No pets. The effect is made for people; a photo of a cat or dog does not give a good result.
  • No sound. Videos are silent so you can add any sound when you post. We do not provide the trend's audio.
  • Your own photos only. Use a photo of yourself or of someone who agreed. No celebrities.

FAQ

Is there a free Halloween broom video AI?

Not here. Each video is $9.90, paid once, with no subscription. Free apps exist, but usually with watermarks, queues or a sign-up. An honest comparison is in is there a free My Ride Is Here generator.

Can I wear my Halloween costume in the video?

Yes. The AI takes the outfit from your photo, so a photo in your costume gives a video in your costume. Keep the face visible: full masks make the result weaker.

Can I make it look like night?

Pick the Car window scene: it is filmed at dusk. Street and Crosswalk stay in daylight even if the note asks for night, so we do not offer a night option for them.

How long is the video?

5 seconds, vertical 9:16, silent. Loop it or join several clips if you want a longer post.

Do I need an account?

No. It works in the browser and you pay without signing up. The video link is sent to the email you use at checkout.
